Admirals Course — 6720 yards

Named after Rear Admiral Robert St Vincent Sherbrooke V.C., consists of 6720 yards of rolling, tree and heathland terrain, with a par of 72 (SSS 73). It’s a challenging but rewarding course requiring full concentration to avoid the plentiful natural hazards. The course makes the most of the gradual undulating terrain and features numerous water hazards including ponds and the Dover Beck which comes into play on several holes.

Commanders Course — 5433 yards

Named after Commander Axel Mortensen, whose vision it was to build Oakmere Golf Club from poor yielding, sandy farm land.
The Commanders course layout consists of 18 separate tees to 9 greens providing a range of playing options including a 27 hole card when combined with the Admirals course. Much care and time has been invested in the natural heathland landscape with trees, gorse, heather and hedgerow to establish an interesting and challenging layout for players of all standards.

Members Clubs

The members on both courses have created their own Clubs. The members of these courses organise competitions and administrate members golf handicaps on their respective courses. Both Clubs have their own websites, click on the links below, where you can see the list of competitions, results, handicaps and also forthcoming social events and days out.
